So, today I got up at 5:30 to catch the bus downtown to catch the bus out to the suburbs to get to musical theatre class on time. It was really awesome, waiting in the dark for the bus to come. It's kind of hard to explain the feeling, but to me it feels like a promise that the day will be interesting, like an adventure about to happen. I'm well aware that that sounds INCREDIBLY cheesy, and I'm not apologizing for anything.
Left house at: 6:15 am
Got home at: 6:10 pm
...I spent as much time travelling as I did actually at acting. It was worth it, though. I had a lot of fun walking around downtown semi-aimlessly and looking for the right bus stops.
To pass the time on the bus, I played That Guy Is A Gigolo, where you make up back stories for random strangers. I know it's semi-creepy, but it's also really fun, and I have an overactive imagination. Here are the best ones:( I wish I had talked to Suzie. I stood with her at the bus stop downtown for about an hour, making up stories about her.Collapse )
On the laptop front: my dad convinced my mom I need a real, good laptop! Now we just need to find a good one and then find money to pay for it.
Now I need to clean the kitchen, but I think I'll sit down for a bit and watch Dollhouse first, because I'm feeling both completely exhausted and caffeinated. It's a surreal feeling.
